Delete your account & data
Last updated: 2026-04-26
Singletick has no account system — there's nothing to "delete an account" from. But you do have data on your device and, if you enabled it, in your own cloud backup. Here's how to erase every trace.
This page satisfies Google Play's account-deletion policy (effective 2026-04-15) by being publicly accessible without sign-in and walking you through the deletion path.
Step-by-step: delete everything Singletick has of yours
Step 1 — delete cloud backups (if you enabled backup)
Inside the Singletick app:
- Settings → Backup → Delete cloud backups.
-
This wipes the encrypted blob from your Google Drive (
appDataFolder) and / or your iCloud private container. - You may also delete it manually from the cloud provider's UI: Drive → Settings → Manage Apps → Singletick → Delete hidden app data; iCloud → Apple ID → iCloud → Singletick → Delete data.
Step 2 — wipe local data on the device
- Settings → Reset all local data.
- This clears the encrypted Isar database, the secure-storage entries (your master key salt, biometric token, TOTP seed if 2FA enabled), and every cached preference.
- The app will return to a fresh-install state — first-launch passphrase setup wizard.
Step 3 — uninstall the app
- Long-press the app icon → Uninstall (Android) or App Library → long-press → Delete App (iOS).
- This removes any remaining files, cached fonts, and the OS-level keychain entries the app held.
Step 4 (optional) — revoke OAuth grants
- If you connected Google Drive: myaccount.google.com/permissions → revoke "Singletick".
- If you connected RevenueCat (anonymous purchase identity): there's nothing user-specific to revoke — the app's anonymous appUserID disappears the moment local data is wiped.
Anonymous analytics events
The handful of anonymous events Firebase received from your install (e.g. habit_completed, paywall_viewed) are not personally identifiable to you and cannot be matched
back to your deleted install. They expire from Firebase's storage per Google's standard
retention (currently 14 months). To avoid generating any such events in the first place, enable
Settings → Privacy → Local-only mode (Pro) before using the app.
If something goes wrong
Email hello@singletick.app with subject "Delete request" — we'll help. Note that because we can't read your data, there's nothing on our side for us to delete on your behalf; the deletion always happens on your device and in your cloud account.
