Companion

Singletick on your laptop. Same encryption.

The phone is the trusted device. The browser is the surface. Nothing in between sees your data.

Pair the browser with your phone

Companion is on the way.

We’re building a browser companion that pairs with your phone over a 6-digit code, runs end-to-end encrypted, and never stores anything on a server. Until then, the app already supports a same-WiFi version inside Settings → Companion.

How the pairing will work.

  1. 1 Open singletick.app/companion on your laptop. The browser shows a 6-digit code.
  2. 2 Open Singletick on your phone → Settings → Companion → Pair new device. Type the 6-digit code.
  3. 3 Both devices run a Noise_KK handshake over a WebRTC data channel. From this point on, nothing in the middle can read the bytes.
  4. 4 Edit habits, todos, and notes from your laptop. Tomorrow, reconnect without re-typing the code — both sides remember each other.

What we never see.
